How can I find an article in The Arizona Republic?

Answer

The Arizona Republic has an online archive for newspapers published from 1900 to 2019 at https://azcentral.newspapers.com/. You may be able to access news articles from the last two years at no cost, but will be asked to pay a subscription fee for older material.

Copies of the Arizona Republican from 1890 to 1899 are available at no charge online at https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/digital/custom/maricopa. The State of Arizona Research Library has microfilmed copies of The Arizona Republic, to 2016. Patrons may also use the US Newsstream database, which has the Republic from 1999 to the present.
